The BigHit Music group's second mini album GREENGREEN re-entered the Billboard 200 at No. 90
CORTIS didn't release anything new this week. The chart found them anyway.
The BigHit Music group's second mini album GREENGREEN re-entered the Billboard 200 at No. 90 on the chart, Chosun Biz and Yonhap reported. That brings its total to 19 weeks on the chart.
GREENGREEN had dropped off after 18 consecutive weeks. It came back after a seven-week absence.
The album also reclaimed No. 1 on Billboard's World Albums chart and ranked No. 5 on Top Album Sales, according to Chosun Biz. It has now spent 26 consecutive weeks on World Albums.
When GREENGREEN was released, it debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200. Chosun Biz reports that it set a K-pop group record for the shortest time from debut to a top-three entry: nine months.
The five members are Martin, James, Juhun, Seonghyun and Geonho. The group debuted about a year and three months ago.
CORTIS heads into awards season with momentum:
Nov. 15: MMA2026 (Melon Music Awards), Gocheok Sky Dome, Seoul — nominated in categories including artist, album, and song of the year
Nov. 20–21: 2026 MAMA AWARDS, Kyocera Dome Osaka
Dec. 2: Fuji TV's FNS Music Festival 2026
A re-entry is not the same as a new debut. An album can leave the Billboard 200 and later return when its weekly eligible activity rises sufficiently, which is why the total number of chart weeks can be larger than the number of uninterrupted weeks on the ranking. Readers should not assume a re-entry proves a new recording, a reissue or a concert-driven surge. Unless chart data or an announcement establishes the cause, the safe fact is the placement shown on the chart for the dated week.
For newer K-pop acts, catalog endurance can be useful evidence of a continuing American audience, but one position cannot tell the whole story. A release's initial peak, the weeks it has accumulated, and the difference between consecutive rankings are more informative than describing every movement as a breakthrough. That is particularly important in a week when many well-established albums are competing for the same 200 places. The latest position is best presented as a snapshot rather than a forecast of the group's next commercial milestone.
A separate release or performance announcement would be needed to establish what the group plans next. The currently reported ranking is a record of listening and purchases during one U.S. chart week; it is not an official comeback announcement.
