Mumbai, November 5, 2026: Namit Malhotra's Ramayana has arrived in theatres with one of the biggest opening-day advance booking totals in Bollywood history. The Nitesh Tiwari directorial closed its Day 1 advance at ₹50.08 crore India gross, including blocked seats, and ₹42.96 crore excluding them. The final tally puts the film ahead of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan and makes it the second-biggest Bollywood opening-day advance booking of all time, behind only Dhurandhar 2.

Ramayana's advance booking campaign began on October 20, more than two weeks before its theatrical release. The initial response was relatively modest compared with some of the year's biggest advance booking openings, but reservations expanded steadily as additional theatres and formats became available. The final count covered 26,615 shows across 1,042 cities, with more than 12 lakh tickets sold excluding blocked seats. The result also reflects the scale of the release, which combines a wide Hindi-language rollout with dubbed versions and several premium screening formats.

Day 1 occupancy will appear here as shows start.

Advance booking for Day 2 (Fri 6 Nov) of Ramayana stands at ₹22.27 Cr gross as of 10:00 AM IST, 5 Nov.
