November 2026: What's New, Gay and Streaming on Netflix, Paramount+, Hulu, Peacock and More

I am so proud to present to you, my people, the greatest monthly lineup I’ve seen in more than a minute. Between Quin Shephard ’s The Body and new seasons of The Hunting Wives and Yellowjackets, we’ll have so much to be thankful for this holiday season!

Stick: Season Two Premiere // Apple TV // November 4

Owen Wilson plays Pryce Cahill, a golfer angling to become the oldest guy to ever win the U.S. Open. Lily Kay returns as Zero, a nonbinary bartender and environmentalist who went from “caddie” to romantic partner of Cahill’s protege, Santi.

Black Doves: Season Two // Netflix // November 5

Helen’s (Kiera Knightley) husband is becoming Prime Minister and Helen’s reunited with her formerly successful triggerman best friend, Sam (Ben Whishaw). Our lesbian assassins Williams (Ella Lily Hyland) and Eleanor (Gabrielle Creevy) are returning and their relationship is getting a lot more screen time this season.

It Gets Worse: Season One // Paramount+ // November 6

Leo Reich wrote and stars in this British A24 project about three university best friends who face eviction from their London flat after a year of failed dates and jobs. Reich’s Ethan is gay (Andrew Scott plays a therapist/hookup in the first episode) and Olive Gray’s Sam is a lesbian — and, post eviction, Sam ends up living “in an anarchist warehouse with a shared Mubi account,” cycling through a series of unpleasant sapphic situationships. TV Scholar says “it’s really good” and “super gay,” so!!!!!

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County: Season One Premiere // Hulu // November 12

There’s a big difference between Utah Mormons and California Mormons (I learned from watching the trailer for this program) and we’ll find out what that difference is on this new program on Hulu. Aspyn Ovard, an apparent lifestyle influencer since 2014, will be navigating her life in a throuple with influencer Briana Dais and Briana’s husband, Billy. Also, somehow, Bobbi Atloff from TikTok who did that podcast interview with Drake and used to do satirical parenting videos is on this show? Neither Aspyn or Bobbi are Mormon, though, but apparently Aspyn grew up near Salt Lake City, and that’s enough. That’s California Mormon.

The Body: Season One // Netflix // November 11

Quin Shephard says The Body is her “most personal” story yet — so while I do fear for her soul, I’m excited for our lives because this show is, thus far, in my opinion, the best new queer TV show of 2026. A Catholic School’s dance troupe’s initiation ceremony goes sideways, and the girls are plagued by prophetic visions possibly from the devil, throwing their town into disarray. At the center of it all is Anya, who has an intensely homoerotic relationship with her mean (gay) best friend, Elise. Shephard started writing the show the year she came out, and then returned to it a long time later, describing it as “satirizing some of the trauma of growing up queer and repressed and the confusion around that.” Also, Gabby Windey plays the dance team coach! If anyone from Netflix or anyone involved in the show at all is reading this can you please let Kayla have screeners

Christmas on the Ranch (2021) // Netflix // November 16

Heather wrote that this Tello movie is a “horse girl holigay rom-com that feels like fan fiction in the way all the best Hallmark Christmas movies do.”

Small Town Trouble: Texas: Season One Premiere // Bravo (next day on Peacock) // November 18

It appears someone thought “what if we found a real-life Hunting Wives?” and by golly they did. Borne is allegedly a conservative Christian “Hallmark town” in Texas but, according to one of the featured stars: “You would be surprised how many women are married with traditional families but also sleeping with women — it’s a lot.” At one point in the trailer, three of the girls toast to “having vaginas and liking vaginas.,” at another point one woman tells the other, “Jesus is not mad at me for scissoring.” Everyone in the comments on YouTube is like “Borne is not like this and those women are not from here.” So, we’ll see.

Yellowjackets: Season Four Premiere // Paramount+ // November 20

Our girls finally get rescued from their very unique cannibal experience in the woods and the whole world is extremely curious about what went on out there. Also in the presnt tense we are promised an old flame returning to town with a hidden agenda. This is a very important event for all of us here at Autostraddle so it feels like I should have more to write in this paragraph but unfortunately we don’t know too much about the season yet but it is the last one and we will be treasuring the experience accordingly.

30 for 30: Give Me the Ball! // ESPN // November 22

Lesbian tennis icon Billie Jean King is the subject of a new 30 for 30 doc.

Dig: Season One Premiere // Peacock // November 23

Based on Kate Myers’ 2023 novel Excavations, Amy Poehler’s new archaeology comedy follows four women on an archaeological expedition who discover a secret that puts them at the epicenter of a massive international conspiracy. Geraldine Viswanathan of Drive-Away Dolls and Blockers stars as hot hot mess Dylan, and Fina Strazza (Paper Girls) is Patty, a nervous weirdo who has a tiny queer arc.

Hunting Wives: Season Two // Netflix // November 26

As Season Two begins, Sophie and Margo are on the outs as Sophie angles to fix her marriage — but clearly not for long, with a trailer that teases Sophie having sex and post-sex baths with Margo, going on wild joyrides with Margo. Also there’s a murder, and Cassie’s the star of a reality show called Married to Justice (which has a new lesbian producer castmate) and Margo’s husband hires a new campaign manager who’s really gonna get him ready to run for President. Also John Stamos is there. Furthermore… Angel Reese is joining the cast as a trainer for Brad’s Baylor University basketball team.

A Firefighter’s Christmas Calendar (2025) // Lifetime // November 29

Nobody outside of Canada including me could figure out how the f*ck to watch this movie when it came out in 2025, but now we have another chance at 8pm E.T on Lifetime! Rookie firefighter Dani (Holly Deveaux) needs to revive her station’s holiday toy drive and via her sister, enlists the help of photographer Sasha (Kyana Teresa), who proposes a sexy Christmas calendar. As their project comes together, SPARKS FLY!
