KATSEYE Postpones Detroit Concert Due to Illness

KATSEYE‘s Detroit concert has been postponed because of illness, the group announced on Tuesday, November 3 via their Instagram Stories.

The group had been scheduled to perform at Little Caesars Arena that evening as part of its WIldworld Tour. The event listening showed an 8 p.m. start time. In their story, the group said Megan Skiendiel had fallen ill and would be unable to perform.

The announcement was made on the day of the show, with the group apologizing to fans for the change, particularly those who traveled to Detroit. They advised anyone already at the arena to follow instructions from the venue staff.

“We’re so sorry to share that tonight’s show at Little Caesars Arena has been postponed due to illness,” read the group’s post on Instagram Stories. “Unfortunately, Megan is unwell and unable to perform tonight, and we want to make sure she has the time she needs to rest and recover.”

The statement continued, “We know so many of you have traveled, made plans, and been looking forward to tonight. We are incredibly disappointed that we won’t get to see you, and we’re truly sorry for the inconvenience. “Thank you for your patience, understanding, and for always showing us so much love. We love you and can’t wait to see you soon.”

Detroit is just one stop on KATSEYE‘s North American tour. The group’s tour notice lists upcoming performances at Chicago’s United Center on Thursday, November 5, and Minneapolis’ Target Center on Saturday, November 7.

The Detroit notice does not say whether those shows will be affected. Fans planning to attend should check their venue’s listing for updates before traveling.

Two of KATSEYE’s group members are also on hiatus. Manon Bannerman previously shared she was stepping back for her mental health, while Sophia Laforteza also took a step back to focus on her mental health. Sophia will rejoin in January 2027.

This past August, KATSEYE had to drop out of Olivia Rodrigo‘s Daisy Chain Fields festival amid Megan‘s ankle injury.
